Yes, I know more neutral tones but I do love them and can't resist a challenge using them. I have combined it with the latest sketch from Stampin' Royalty. This made me think of the SU patterned paper in neutrals I have, and it all came together pretty easily.
Thought I would include a close up shot of the rosette as it is hard to see the leaf stamp and pink butterfly on the main photo.
Queenslanders vote in the state elections today (voting is compulsory in Australia) and by all accounts it looks as if the incumbent government will be leaving office with a very reduced parliamentary presence. It is one of those tasks we all complain about and take for granted but there are people in other countries who go to extraordinary lengths to have the right to vote. At least the polling station is on the way to ballet and as it is at the local school there should be some wonderful homemade cakes available for fund raising.

ReplyDeleteI'm also a fan of neutral colors, though recently I've been drawn to much brighter ones in honor of spring! I'm also a fan of your cards, this one included!
