WOW, the months are just flying by!  This month's challenge was to use thread imaginatively.  Well, I have come up with 2 cards, not necessarily imaginative but quite happy with the results

Being a cross-stitcher for many years I couldn't resist putting it on a card.  The other bonus to this is it uses up some of my fairly extensive range of embroidery cottons.

What you need

Cardstock - PTI white, Hibiscus Burst

Stamps - Taylored Expressions Summer Afternoon, PTI Simple Sentiments

Ink - SU Old Olive, Memento Rich Cocoa

DMC thread - 602, 603, 605, 818

Die - PTI Small Scallop

Gemstones - Kaisercraft

The second card  is based on CAS #132  (the sketch image won't load today)

Only I have flipped it upside down for a Christmassy effect.  At least I have the chance to use up some of this hologram thread (no idea why I bought it).
