An embarrassment of riches (well, posts) ...

WOW, nothing for a month then 2 posts in 1 day! The June birthdays have come all too quickly, hard to believe we are almost halfway through 2010. This card had its inspiration origins from Stacy Morgan (aka Twinshappy, SCS) - Shadow Butterfly. Gorgeously understated but I am sure my sister-in-law will love it if I get it posted for Tuesday.

What you need

Cardstock - SU Melon Berry, Regal Rose, Whisper White

Stamps - Verve: Wishing You, Leaves

Ink - SU Melon Berry, Memento Tuxedo Black

Gemstones - Kaisercraft Hot Pink, Black

Diamante Faux Buckle - TCD Concepts

Ribbon - Creation Station

Sweet Peas in Winter!!!

I have been having a bit of fun with PTI's Year of Flowers: Sweet Pea stamp set. The first card was very heavily inspired (read copied) from Debbie Olson with afew additional bits from Nichole Heady. The image took forever to colour with Copics but I am happy with the result.

The second card was an experiment to see if it's possible to make flowers alittle less 'girly', it may not be evident but the choc chip cardstock was stamped with Versamark and there is glitter on the coloured areas of the flowers. A bit of fun and I do like the results.

What you need

Cardstock - SU Choc Chip, Very Vanilla

Stamp - PTI Year of Flowers: Sweet Pea

Ribbon and Gemstones - Kaisercraft

Glitter - Martha Stewart Brownstone

Button - PTI Vintage Cream

Copic - E59 Walnut

Ink - Versamark, Memento: Rich Cocoa
