FTL 96 Challenge

I love this Lisa Johnson stamp set - the little leaf motif just called to me (as happens with butterflies and flourishes, but that is another story). I have again used Kraft and dark brown, perhaps as it's winter here and these are warming colours.
What you need
Cardstock - PTI Kraft; SU Whisper White, Choc Chip
Stamps - PTI Inside and Out: Thank You; Just for You
Ink - Brilliance Coffee Bean, Thyme, Pearlescent Rust

Birthdays, birthdays and more birthdays...

My daughter has an excellent social life! Far better than her parents, and they are invited to do alot of fun things. Last night was a disco party for a school friend (these children are only 7 to 8 year olds), needless to say I was alot older before I went to a disco or school dance.

Anyway, I thought I'd share a couple of cards completed over the past few weeks.

The first card is meant to give the impression of the balloons being tethered to the "l". Of course, after I positioned the balloons I realised they weren't quite straight. Oh well.

What you need
Cardstock - Bazzill Basics Red, Orange; PTI White
Stamps - SU Circle Circus, Jumbo Outline Alphabet; PTI Fillable Frames #1
Die - PTI Rick Rack
Ink - Memento Tangelo, Tuxedo Black
Brilliance Sunflower Yellow
Stickles - Diamond
Copics - B14, B29, G14, G17, Colourless Blender, R02, R24, R29

You can see I was quite eager to keep up the Circle Circus theme. I can see so many possibilites for this set but I seem to overlook it more often than not.
It might be difficult to see but the 'bubble' stamp is done with glue pad and glitter. Looks better in real life than in this photo.

.... Needless to say, she had a great time at all her social events

FTL 95 Challenge

Thought I would have a bit of fun and play along with a challenge for the first time. I chose Clean and Simple Stamping's latest sketch. I tried not to look at other entries as I think, for me at least, copying could start. It was nice to try something that didn't have an immediate purpose ie cards friends have asked me to do, or family stuff. Anyway, without further ado ... here it is

I wish I had bought more of the polka dot paper at the time, but my intention had been to use the other side (of course).
I have now looked at the competition and it's pretty tough.
Supplies
Cardstock - Kraft (PTI), Choc Chip and Whisper White (SU)
Patterned Paper - Toile Mocha Paperie (Making Memories)
Flowers - Kaisercraft
Punch - Martha Stewart
Pearl Brad - Cristina Re
Ribbon - Creation Station
Stamp - Through the Trees (PTI)
