CAS-ual Fridays #42

Had to put in a submission for this one as I have been making afew baby cards lately.  One of the Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients kits had a selection of one of my favourite patterned paper companies - October Afternoon.  This is from Campfire but couldn't for the life of me, work out what to do with this pattern, till I dreamt this one up.

I really like this - can be used for a little boy or girl (which it will be).  And of course it is in one of my favourite colours - Navy.

What you need
Cardstock - Bazzill Basics Navy; SU Very Vanilla, More Mustard
Patterned Paper - OA Star Gazing
Stamps - PTI Baby Button Bits, Star Prints
Ink - Memento Rich Cocoa;  SU Night of Navy
Marker - SU Pumpkin Pie
Die - Spellbinders

  1. Too sweet! I was looking at the October Afternoon papers at TE just today - haven't put my order through just yet though, decisions decisions.

  2. I found this paper when I purged the paper collections in my studio last week. This is a great way to use it! I'm hoping to get back to a few card challenges this weekend.

  3. Too cute, and features your wonderful cutting skills as well (I'd like to take a class from you!). Love the visual pun with the star.

  4. What a lovely card - I think the teddy is fabulous. Love the sentiment and the "shining" star in the night sky! Inspired!

  5. So cute, I love your background and the teddies.

  6. Super cute!!!! Love the sentiment with the background :) Thanks for playing with us at CAS-ual Fridays!

  7. Love that background paired with the sentiment and cute teddy :) Thanks for playing with us this week at CAS-ual Fridays!

  8. Cuteness! Love that you used an actual star in the sentiment. Thank you so much for playing along at CAS-ual Fridays.
