This is another card I have pondered for the best part of a week. I haven't used my WMS doilies alot lately so I pulled them out and stamped lots of doilies in different shades of grey, layering them and this was the best combination. I wanted to add a touch more yellow in the form of miniature roses, but couldn't work out where to put them so stopped
What you need
Cardstock - PTI Kraft, white; SU Going Grey
Stamps - WMS Doilies, Asian Gardens
Ink - SU Basic Grey, Going Grey, Daffodil Delight
Die - Spellbinders
Twine - SU
Gem - Kaisercraft
This is such a wonderful beauty! Great take on the sketch too!

ReplyDeleteSo, so elegant. I love the twine, it's the perfect addition.
ReplyDeleteI love the addition of twine on this gorgeous little card Cassandra. That little pop of yellow looks great too.
ReplyDeleteOh WOW what a beautiful doily you made, Cassandra! I just love the layering of the images in different colors. The simple twine is the perfect accent for this card! Way to go incorporating both challenges just seamlessly!
ReplyDeleteGray and yellow are so "in," and I'm becoming a real fan of the combination. Love the card and the design (again!)

This card is simply gorgeous Cassie! Once again you have distilled down the concept to its simplest, cleanest elements and come up with a stunner! What I want to know is, how on earth do you get such perfect stamping of the images? Not a millimeter of deviation do I see...
