August WMS SOAP

There were so many beautiful cards to CASE from this month's SOAP, but settled on Jennifer Holmes' cards - AGAIN, because as she said, these would be easy to mass produce but the effect is stunning.  These were the 2 that caught my eye.

I have taken elements from both, they are just so elegant.

As my embellishment wasn't that bold, it really needed the small red swirl in the bottom right hand corner (photography doesn't do the colours justice).

What you need
Cardstock - PTI white
Stamps - WMS Fancy Flourishes and Scallops and Dots; Oval Classic Frames;  Cameo to go
Ink - Versacolour silver;  SU Real Red;  Memento Tuxedo Black
Gems - Kaisercraft

  1. Oh, very nice indeed! Your placement of the motifs is so balanced, and I like the way you have adapted the design for more general, non-holiday use. I simply must get that flourishes set...

  8. Wow. I will say it again. Wow. I love these cards and I am certain I will be using them to make invitation to my Thanksgiving dinner. I can just see a beautiful leaf or even a pine branch tied in fall colors instead of the ornament that Jennifer used. I love that flourish set and you nailed this as a great CASE of her original card.
