Edited to Add: I received an Honourable Mention for this entry! YAY
This is my second post for the day (there could be a third), please scroll down for my WMS August Blog Waltz entry.
I made this birthday book for my mother, not that long ago, which I felt would qualify for this challenge. These colours are absolutely her, she really isn't a frilly and fussy girl and she is a former Home Economics teacher (sewing, cooking etc), so the decorations on the cover are particularly appropriate. I need to make a couple more in the next few weeks for my aunts in Victoria AND start to think about end of year teacher presents. Any ideas? they would be most gratefully received.

ReplyDeleteOh, I really like this, especially the artful arrangement of buttons and dressmaker's dummy. I have to force myself to avoid making everything rigidly symmetrical--you have mastered the art of arrangement! Love the color scheme too.
