Very, very interesting choice, colours very hard to define unless looking at the cushion in real life, I would imagine. Went with the bird theme and found some patterned paper that was grey/blue (really should look a bit harder more often, never know what you will find).

Looks like you nailed it! The bird and the background paper are perfect for this challenge. And you are getting some great mileage out of those gems! They add a lot and echo the gems or whatever they are on the inspiration bird's neck.
