Well, here we are again, another month gone by in a rush. But I have not been idle, dear reader, a month full of PC submissions and making everyone else's Christmas cards but my own. I did have 1 project picked up, always a good thing, but it was not my favourite, these 2 were. As everyone keeps saying you just never know what they are looking for.
This next one was loosely based on a card I did for my Mother-in-law earlier this year, again CR paper but in blue. Not sure who could be the recipient of this but maybe it will go in the box of keeper cards. I had a peek at some of the other "rejects" and they are gorgeous - we have some very talented people in cardmaking-land.
OMG, Cassie, these are breathtakingly beautiful! I can't wait to see the one they selected. :-)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely lovely! I too can't wait to see what was selected. Go you!
ReplyDeletethese are beautiful! you're right when you say you just never know what they're looking for. happy for you that one of your card's was picked up! :)
ReplyDeleteWell I must say, if these were rejected there's no point in me submitting anything! They are both just gorgeous! I just love the subtle coloring of the rose and the ingenious stitching and use of the reverse papers in the first one, and I love the quote in the second card. I think it would make a great graduation or coming-of-age card. Maybe even retirement!
ReplyDeleteOh my word Cassandra, I don't know what they're looking for either if these are 'rejects'! They're both beautiful.
