PTI March 2013 blog hop

Now, I have had sequins for quite some time, possibly because I have a daughter, and I used to make "art pieces" (can't think of what else to call them), for her room. One of her favourites were the Groovy Girls (still are I think). As I am no artist I used to trace the images onto canvas then paint them, which is where the sequins came in.  Most girly girls love sparkle.

However, they have languished at the very bottom of my craft drawers till now.  PTI have liberated them.

But, of course, any design is constrained by the colours i have.  So  went with a flower theme.  Love pretty much all the cards I have seen using this "hello" die so really needed to get it on a card quickly.

What you need
Cardstock - PTI rustic white
Patterned paper  - PTI Itty Bitty Polka Dot Basics
Stamps - PTI Fancy Flourishes
Ink - SU Lucky Limeade
Die - PTI hello
Sequins

  1. LOVE everything about this! The "hello" die is waiting for some love from me when I get home from visiting Sarah. I'd forgotten about the blog hop until I saw your post in my reader! Off to see what other wonderful creations are linked up. I must have some sequins somewhere, but I'd be hardpressed to find them!

  4. You used your sequins gloriously. I particularly like the placement of your flowers with PTI's great flourish stamps. Your sequins were just staying safe in the bottom of your drawers, until you could help them shine. (I bet your daughter's room was the envy of her friends.)

Thanks for sharing, and I love the wallpaper for your blog. Really love it.
