Remembering Allison

I didn't know Allison Baden-Clay directly but most people in the Kenmore/Brookfield community knew who she was.  So it isn't really a surprise that when she lost her life so tragically and horrifically, that it should have affected us to some degree.

I was asked to create a title page for a condolence book on behalf of the school her 3 daughters attend.  I was delighted to be able to contribute in some way.

The 3 girls attend the same ballet school as my daughter, though not in the same class, but we had exchanged a few insignificant words as you pass in the hallway, while waiting for lessons to finish.

This beautiful journal was provided and I have just covered the lined area with card.  Pretty Peonies comes to the rescue yet again, and the printing was done by computer.

  1. Beautiful and elegant. I can't express what I'm feeling, so I won't try, but I am sure your work is deeply appreciated.

  4. How sad. With a young family too. This is a lovely title page you have created for the journal--it goes very well with the paper in the book. I'm sure they will appreciate the beauty you have added.
