Another gorgeous photo as inspiration - memories of summer on a perfect winters day in Brisbane.
So the elements I took from this photo - obviously the colours and the pattern on the knee rug.
Again, I need birthday cards, more for my daughter's friends so probably not this one. I used the Guidelines stamp set (new to me) to imitate the rug and the vellum (in a very loose way) reminds me of the window.
What you need
Cardstock - PTI white, spring moss, dark chocolate, vellum
Stamps - PTI Botanical Silhouettes, Guidelines 2, Beautiful Blooms 2
Ink - Memento Rich Cocoa; Pearlescent Orange, Jade; SU early espresso
Smooch - Carrot
Die - PTI Simple Circles
Gems and Wood Flourish - Kaisercraft
Dimensional Magic

ReplyDeleteThis all works so beautifully, even the crazy chandelier. :-) I especially love the vellum sentiment strip (and it calls up window images for me too). I'm glad you told us how you got the lovely border on it, because that is the perfect finishing touch that I might just use one day. Very, very elegant, once again.
