This first card was a great idea in my head but quite uninspiring once I had made it. I wanted a gradual change in colour but don't have 3 inks that go together tonally.
This one I am happier with, lots of white space
What you need
Cardstock - PTI white
Stamps - SU Great Friend
Ink - SU Melon Mambo, Elegant Eggplant
Gemstones - Kaisercraft
Clear Spica Pen
That second card has me going "Ooh and aah!" I love all that white space and the beautiful butterflies! Wow!

Hi Cassandra
ReplyDeleteYour cards are fantastic, I love them both!
It isn't one layer this week. We ask for clean & simple every week, but one layer is only required the second week of the month
Thanks so much

Less is More
I like them both and the idea of the first on e is great .... but the second is simply lovely

They are both lovely cards! I love the placement of the butterflies and sentiments, and your cutting skills are awesome! I have not entered any of the "Less is More" challenges but will have to look into them as this style is so much more to my taste than the sometimes over-embellished "shabby" style that I find myself doing to enter challenges. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDelete2 Beautiful cards I cannot choose between them .. Chris xx
ReplyDeleteI like both very much, but I'd pick the second one as #1 as well. I love the patterned paper you chose for the butterflies.
ReplyDeleteLovely! Though the second one is more eyecatching! :)
ReplyDeleteAt last I can comment again!! These are both so gorgeous Cassandra! I can't choose between them. xx
ReplyDeleteBoth are great cards, but I think the second one is my favorite too. Very CAS...and just perfect! My card is HERE
