These colours are just so beautiful and restful, wish I had something in that slightly warmer grey, all I could think of was copics but I didn't really want to shade around the flowers. Thanks to the Less is More ladies for highlighting the Design Seeds blog, a definite go to when colour inspiration is low. I hoped it would suit my first attempt at a Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge, one that I have had on my list for quite a while.
I wasn't able to find a ribbon or embellishment that worked in the bottom left corner of the flowers so opted for gemstones, a huge departure from the norm for me HA HA!
What you need
Cardstock - PTI white
Patterned paper - Kaisercraft Chanteuse
Copics
Stamps - The Cat's Meow Celebrating You
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Gems - MME Lush (grey)
What a beautiful flower image!!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card :)
So, so pretty! Love it! I love Design Seeds, too. I like clicking random colours just to see what combinations she's created for them, LOL!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image and lovely colours.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love these flowers and the way you've coloured them. Your gem stones look great too!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy Easter Cassandra!
Oh, so lovely! In my favorite colors, too. Your coloring is exquisite--the shading of these flowers is just perfect! And thanks for the heads up about the color inspiration--sometimes I really need that!
ReplyDeleteMy all time favourite flowers! Your Fuschias are just stunning - beautifully coloured! Pretty backing paper too. Great card! I'm struggling with this LIM challenge.
ReplyDeletePrecious, I love picture.
ReplyDeleteThe dp has absorbed our white spce, but a beautiful card

Ideally we would like to see more white space on submissions to our challenges, but it's a super card.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much

Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI came very close to ordering this beautiful image from Cat's Meow when it came out. I know why, because it has made a very lovely card here, and is so perfect for coloring with Copics.
