A Case Study in Black and White (and a bit of brown)

I really didn't want to miss out on either of these challenges, as it is the last for Laura Bassen at Case Study (sob, sob) and the colours at Play Date suit me down to the ground.  The idea of the negative die cuts is inspired - how many have I thrown away, not even thinking how interesting they could be.

I would have liked to get another layer in but the senitment would have been unreadable.  The iris is embossed with black glitter embossing powder but it is very difficult to photograph.

What you need
Cardstock - PTI white;  SU black, Soft Suede
Stamps - Gina K Bold and Beautiful;  PTI Inside and Out: Birthday
Ink - Versamark; Memento Tuxedo Black
Dies - SB tags
Embossing Powder  - Zing! Black Glitter
