After the very warm days we had over the weekend, yesterday it poured with rain (nobody is complaining after having none for 2 months), and today it is very windy and cold. Just can't pick it at the moment.
I have been wanting to get into the Hero Arts challenge a little more regularly, given the number of their stamps I have, which have hardly been touched. So with a bit of help from a couple of other challenges, as the inspiration around here is a bit low, here is what I have come up with.
I have found lately that I need cards without a sentiment. When I write to my family, yes, snail mail style, they love to get a card
What you need
Cardstock - PTI white
Stamps - HA Lotus Leaves, Pattern Hearts and Flowers, Year round sentiments.
Ink - SU Primrose Petals, Early Espresso; Memento Cantaloupe.
Seam Binding - SU Pear Pizzazz
Gems - Kaisercraft
Weather is wet and windy down here too :o(
ReplyDeleteLove your card and that seam binding bow is gorgeous. I too love to have cards on hand with no sentiment.
I'm another fan of cards without a sentiment, but I don't see many of them in blogland. This is beautiful, and the bow is stunning.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun and fresh card! Thanks for playing with us at The Play Date Cafe!
ReplyDeleteHi Cassandra! Had a lovely time this morning going back through your blog and catching up on all the cards that I have missed lately! Especially love the "Bella Bleu" one and the sparkly "9" card ! This one is lovely too and I love the idea of making cards with no sentiments and using them to send letters to family. Think I will do that too! TFS!
ReplyDeletebtw...the weather seems fine to me!...much better than Melbourne!
So pretty! The layout is great, and I love all the details you incorporated. I like cards without sentiments, too. :) Thanks for joining us at The Play Date Cafe!
